Product Development:
PRTM and PMG are pleased to offer you an opportunity
to participate in a free product lifecycle management survey being conducted in
conjunction with the Management Roundtable & PDMA conference "Driving
Lifecycle Profits from Launch to Renewal," to be held June 16–18 in Chicago. An executive briefing
with key findings and analysis will be provided to all survey participants and
to the attendees of this conference in June 2003.
What does the survey address?
This survey will provide meaningful and groundbreaking insights into the practices leading companies are adopting
and the challenges they are facing as they strive to maximize the
profitability of their products through effective lifecycle management.
The survey will answer some of the following questions: Who should complete survey? Managers and directors in product development,
marketing management, and operational management responsible for
monitoring and managing product performance over its lifecycle. How long will it take? Survey questions are primarily qualitative, and for someone knowledgeable about the product
development practices in your company, the answers should not require
research. (If you do not feel that you have the background required to
answer the questions, please forward the survey to a more appropriate
respondent.) We estimate that the survey will take approximately 10–15 minutes to complete. Questions are organized in
four categories: Is the survey confidential? All individual responses will be held confidential. No company-specific
performance data will ever be divulged, and only aggregate results are reported.
The survey is administered by PRTM's benchmarking subsidiary, The Performance
Measurement Group (PMG), which uses technologies that provide the highest
protection against unauthorized access to your data exchanged across the
Internet. PMG uses VeriSign's 128-bit Encryption Secure Socket Layer (SSL), the
latest and highest level of Internet encryption technology that is publicly
available. This is the same standard that web-based companies routinely use when
requesting credit card numbers and other sensitive materials over the Internet. |
