Performance Measurement Group, LLC (PMG) Selects Ed Salley as President,
General Manager
Executive to Leverage Business Expertise, Long-term Relationship with
PMG and Parent Company PRTM

Waltham,
MA (March 11, 2005)—Ed Salley has joined
The Performance Measurement Group, LLC (PMG) as its president and
general manager. PMG is a subsidiary of management consulting firm
Pittiglio Rabin Todd & McGrath (PRTM).
A seasoned
business development, engineering, and operations executive,
Salley
specializes in leading organizations in planning
and achieving profitable growth. During the last 15 years, he
has retained PRTM and PMG to help him with numerous benchmarking
and process reengineering engagements while at AT&T Technologies,
Inc. (now Lucent Technologies), AT&T Wireless, and NorthStar
Communications Group.

a long-term, repeat customer of PRTM benchmarking and consulting services,
I was always delighted at the insight and support for operations
improvements provided by PRTM/PMG, which resulted in hundreds of millions
of dollars in product development and supply chain operations cost, quality,
and cycle-time improvements,” Salley said. “I am pleased

Prior to joining PMG, Salley was president of Atlanta, Georgia-based
The Salley Consulting Group where he served companies as a contract
executive and consultant in strategy formulation, business planning,
new business development, and operations management. During the last
three years, The Salley Consulting Group helped its clients secure
millions of dollars in new business.
Previously, Salley served as senior vice president of the Network Services
Division of NorthStar Communications Group, a privately held network
infrastructure services company. At NorthStar, he successfully led revenue
growth in the company by over 50% and led its 300-person Network Services
Division.
Prior to NorthStar,
Salley worked at AT&T Wireless for six years
in numerous corporate executive positions. He was responsible for the
planning, deployment, and management of network operations and for customer
location equipment installation and maintenance provisioning for the
Fixed Wireless Services Division. The fixed wireless services network
covered 15 markets with more than 50,000 local telephone and broadband
data subscribers.
Also, Salley was
director of corporate engineering for AT&T Technologies,
Inc., before its spin-off as Lucent Technologies. There, he also served
as founder and president of AT&T Manufacturing Systems, an internal
company venture providing fiber-optic based manufacturing shop-floor
control systems.
Salley received his B.A. from Georgia Tech in industrial/systems engineering
and his M.S. from Lehigh University in industrial engineering. In addition,
he has attended executive development programs at Stanford University,
Penn State, and Harvard University.
